The Riemland Wine Route

Francolin Creek is one of two wine cellars forming part of the Riemland Wine Route - inspired by the Cape wine tasting and sales tradition.

Francolin Creek offers the full range of wines from:

  • Kloovenburg Vineyards, Riebeek Kasteel
  • Groote Post, Darling Hills
  • Babylon’s Peak, nestled in the slopes of Paardeberg near Malmesbury
  • Jakkalsvlei, Garden Route

Goedehoop Wine Cellar offers wine from the well-known Van Loveren wines Robertson

These two farms are 60km apart and have formed a Cape wine tasting experience only two hours from Johannesburg.

Cellars built underneath 100-year old farmhouses, alongside savannah grasslands or meandering rivers come complete with the full range of Cape wine tasting facilities, from wooden tables, narrow-rimmed wine-sniffing glasses and spittoons to a complete stock of fine Cape wines for purchase.
