Francolin Creek is a tranquil oasis halfway between Heilbron and Frankfort in the Northern Free State that blends true South African history with modern comfort. A family-owned and managed farm retreat, Francolin Creek is rated four stars by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa in the Country House category. A total of 26 overnight guests can be accommodated in the main lodge, which boasts a magnificent 13-unit portfolio. In addition, our new bush lodge comprises four luxury chalets (sleeping up to 10 guests), allowing you to immerse yourself in the African wilderness.

Several bird species roam in abundance on the farm, including the Francolin… the inspiration for the lodges name.
